1. VERDURA Deck^™ is designed to be screwed to a standard 16" on center floor joist system.
   
2. Install starter board by screwing the starter board (the first deck board) into the wall plate or floor joists.

3. Install next deck board by sliding the tongue into the starter board and screwing the groove side into the floor joist. The screws are hidden by the top of the groove.

4. Insert the next board's tongue into the groove and screw the groove side into the joist and continue until the joist system is fully covered.

5. Complete the outer edge by taking the finish trim and screwing it into the groove side of the last decking board.

6. Alternatively, the first and last boards may be ripped to remove the tongue and groove allowing them to be used as finish boards.
   

Deck boards can be screwed into any regular floor joist.

Plastic board should be pre-drilled to diameter of screw shaft

One screw is adequate on standard 2” joists.
