New Frontier Industries, Inc. (NFI) is a non-profit manufacturing corporation dedicated to recycling. NFI utilizes recycled mixed plastic resins for its products. The company also is dedicated to the research and design of other innovative technologies that can make recycling economically sound.
NFI is the outgrowth of a 6 year partnership that included the States of New Hampshire and Vermont, US EPA, USDA Rural Development, the American Plastics Council and the Northeast Resource Recovery Association. Its mission is to find new ways to recycle plastic that otherwise would never be recycled and manufacture quality products that generate revenues that can be used for further R&D.
New Frontier was formed as an independent manufacturing company by Northeast Resource Recovery Association. NRRA is a 25 year old non-profit cooperative of 350 municipalities in the Northeast. NRRA is dedicated to the implementation of recycling, composting and appropriate waste diversion. Throughout its history, NRRA has been a leader in identifying and implementing new recycling opportunities.
New Frontier is a 501 (c )(4) non-profit. Earnings from sales are re-invested in new technologies to further recycling, and support recycling and environmental programs regionally.
NFI uses state of the art extrusion equipment that can manufacture 2 million linear feet of deck and 1 million feet of sound barrier a year. Our products are attractive, strong, light weight, easy to install and are competitively priced.
